The house is a former military barracks, built in stone in 1885.
Downstairs there is a spacious living area with a dining table for ten, large wood burner , children's books and games and tourist information, including maps and walks. There is a well equipped kitchen with oven , gas hobs, fridge and all you need to cook for a group. Note that because the house uses solar power there is no dishwasher or washing machine (but there are machines in the nearby towns). There is also a small games room with a table football game.
Upstairs there is one double bed room and three others with twin beds, one of which has two additional bunk beds. There are two shower rooms, each with washbasins and WC.
